Redefinición de las relaciones familiares en el proceso migratorio ecuatoriano a España

Este trabajo, en torno al caso del sorprendente flujo de los inmigrantes ecuatorianos a España, analizará algunos de los conflictos que el proceso migratorio plantea a la unidad familiar desde una perspectiva de género. Basado en la experiencia profesional como psicoterapeuta individual y de familia del autor, como investigador de campo en estudios sobre migraciones y como observador participante en una asociación de ecuatorianos en España, plantea que la reagrupación familiar no siempre es tan armónica como se contempla en el discurso de las instituciones que intervienen socialmente con inmigrantes.
